Clothe a Child

The Clothing Our Kids organization is a local, 100 percent volunteer organization that provides clothing, shoes, and coats to at-risk elementary, middle, and high school children throughout Sussex County at no charge. COK works with the school nurses / counselors at Sussex County schools and with 10 Head Start programs (List of the schools and programs served by COK) to determine the needs of these children.

Founded in Millsboro in 2012, Clothing Our Kids provided approximately 850 items to 150 students that year. Since that first year, COK has been able to help more than 36,000 kids with over 229,000 items of clothing.

Clothing Our Kids never wants to say “No” to an underprivileged child because of lack of resources.
