How are clothes distributed?

Each request for clothing assistance comes to Clothing Our Kids through school nurses, counselors, or social workers. Typically the need is acute, therefore, in order to respond in a timely manner COK must plan ahead and have clothing of various sizes and gender ready for distribution. Typically the need is greatest at the beginning of the school year and as the seasons change.

If someone knows of a family with school children in need of coats, sweaters, shoes or clothing, they can receive them free of charge. A parent or guardian simply needs to contact the school nurse or counselor who will provide them with the information about each child.
